With Rabbits being the star of the season, I thought I'd ask if there are any rabbit breeders lurking in the forum wings?

If so you might have a few extra tips and secrets to share with us on how to keep a happy and healthy rabbit.  Or perhaps you might have some interesting stories about your bunnies.

My only experience with rabbits has been with wild briar rabbits that I have caught and kept.  

I must say they make great pets as they have real personalities.

I have many stories ranging from the sad - catching my first wild rabbit and putting it in a cage only to wake up to find a dog had broken through the netting - to the funny - watching the rabbit chase the kitten around the house.

Most of my rabbits were released once they got older.  I would let them go at home and they would leave when they felt the call of the wild.  Some remained tame for months, and would be seen around the house, while others would happily hop off into the sunset.
