Dogs Cured Of Cancer By New Drug - Humans Next
There is a new breakthrough sending shock waves through the medical fraternity.Dogs have been cured of advanced cancer where radiation and chemotherapy failed with a new drug made from nitric oxide, a cancer killing substance attached to vitamin B12.
Dr. Joseph A. Bauer at the Center for Hematology & Oncology Molecular Therapeuticsdescribes the miracle dog cure of Oscar. Oscar is a 10-year-old Bichon Frise who was given only weeks to live after chemotherapy and radiation treatment failed to halt the spread of his anal sac adeneocarcinoma cancer. Already, left unable to walk by the cancer Oscar's days were numbered.
The new drug, nitrosylcobalamin (NO-Cbl), was able to treat Oscar's cancer and restore his ability to walk in only a couple of weeks.
Oscar is not alone in experiencing a miracle with the new cancer killing drug, there are at least two more success stories:
- "Ultrasound and MRI imaging showed significant reductions in tumor size in all three dogs. Nine months of NO-Cbl treatment shrank a spinal tumor in a 6-year-old golden retriever named Buddy by 40%. Buddy, who once had nerve damage in his right hind leg, is now taking 2-mile walks. The treatment also significantly reduced inoperable thyroid cancer in a 13-year-old female Giant Schnauzer. The dog had a 77% reduction in tumor size in less than 10 weeks. The team is now treating a spinal tumor in a fourth dog, a golden retriever named Haley." Reports the examiner online.
If the researchers can successfully treat 10 dogs with no adverse side effects they will be petitioning the FDA to allow the work to move to humans. This drug is the culmination of 60 years of research into the vitamin B12 cure.
A truely monumental leap in medical science.
