Christmas high on pets list.

Even times of financial crisis pet owners are making sure their pets are well taken care of at Christmas.

According to a recent AP report shoppers will be cutting back on themselves but not on their pets. A massive 84% said they were going Scrooge on Christmas for themselves, where as a paltry 23% said they would consider cutting back on the family pet at Christmas.

Some people have made the painful decision to give up their pets to save money.  Others recognise that the health benefits associated with an animal companion out weigh the cost.

In a world of turmoil there is nothing quite like the unconditional devotion of a loyal pet.  Therefore, is it not right that these devotees get something extra in the holiday season?
