Content: Providing For Your Pet After Your Death. As of October 1st Maryland will be the 40th state to allow pet trusts. This allows a trust to be set up that will take care of your pets every need as long as they live. It is designed to take care of feeding, shelter, and vet bills. There is also an allowance to provide for the care-giver and a professional trustee to oversee the payments. What do you think - will you be making allowances for your pets in the case of your death?
